Esther Fawcett-Wolf’s work is an exploration into the way we make sense of religion, politics and social issues. She aims to challenge people's perceptions and question dogmas. In her work she collaborates with multiple media such as dance, fine art, music, narrative and photography.

Fawcett-Wolf was born in Germany and has lived in the UK since 1992. She has a degree in Business, specialising in Fashion Buying and a Dipl. FH in Communications Design. Most of her career has been spent working as a graphic designer for companies such as Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, Dewe Rogerson, Addison and in recent years with her own clients.

Max André Rademacher (aka Maxim Rad) founder of the Rad Orchestra has been working as a musician in Germany, France and the UK for the past 30 years. He has collaborated throughout his career with other disciplines in art. This included the theatre company CHANGEINSPEAK for which he composed and performed in London (Cockpit Theatre, Oval House Theatre), the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as in the past two years with the ballet company Scarlett Perderau and Co. with performances at the Cloud Festival, The Roundhouse and The Place as part of Resolution! (Feb 09).

The music for “three shades of true” is written and performed by the Rad Orchestra, a group of classically trained as well as self-taught musicians. Strings (guitar, bass, violin, viola and various lutes) are the sole pulse and driving force. The music has a strong rhythmic element without the use of any percussion instruments. The composition and improvisation have a distinct element of repetition and take inspiration from the music of West Africa, Blues, Folk, Gospel and the minimalism of classical composers from the late 1960’s and early 1970’s.
